Car Parking Details
Some car parking is available onsite - however this is extremely limited and car parks cannot be reserved. Vehicles may be parked in one of the overnight carparks throughout the village. No charge applies for this, however there is a daily fee for entry to Kosciuszko National Park - $27 per vehicle per day during winter season - June to October and $16 per day at any other time of the year.
Travel Directions
Follow the signs from Jindabyne. Turn right into the village from the Alpine Way. The road winds its way around past the river, and becomes "Diggings Terrace". Candlelight is up the hill on the left and is well signed for both daytime and evening arrivals. Shuttle services are available from both Canberra and Cooma airports.
Things To Do
Winter - skiing, snowboarding. Summer - bushwalks, golf ( on Australia's highest golf course ), tennis, horseriding - close by but not within National Park - approx 15 km from Thredbo.
