The Noble Grape

The Bussell Highway in Western Australia¿s south-west takes the traveller through some very pretty farmland on its way to the tourist mecca of Margaret River. Just short of that destination, you pass through Cowaramup, a quiet hamlet with the distinction of being closer to most of the Margaret River vineyards than Margaret River itself. It¿s also far enough from its famous neighbour to be a haven from tourists. It¿s here that you will find the small guesthouse named for the regions star crop, The Noble Grape Guesthouse, a colonial style 4.5 star "motel style" Bed and Breakfast set in an English cottage garden, some antique furnishings and ensuite bathrooms. It was built like a colonial country house, but only in recent times. So it has the warmth of old world charm, but lacks none of the modern conveniences of modern accomodation. Many of the regions wineries feature superb restaurants in breathtaking surroundings. You can wander from one to the other during your stay. Remember also that The Noble Grape is not just convenient to the vineyards; it¿s also a short drive from all the other attractions of the area including art galleries, gourmet cheesemakers, potteries, furniture workshops, antique stores, bushwalk trails and of course some of the world¿s finest surf beaches and coastal scenery.

The Noble Grape is a charming Colonial Style Guesthouse situated in the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region in the small town of Cowaramup. Offering a delicious buffet style continental breakfast in the breakfast room overlooking the delightful English cottage gardens. Our deliciously healthy breakfast includes cereals, toast, tea, coffee, fruit juices, yoghurts, sliced fresh fruit, fruit in juice, prunes and freshly baked muffins. The guest rooms are located in a separate wing across the rear of the property with delightful gardens across the front of the rooms and a private courtyard and small garden at the rear of each room. A colonial style verandah surrounds the building and joins the guest rooms to the dining room affording guests privacy and most of the comforts of home in their own spacious well-appointed room. Some of the rooms feature some quaint antique furniture enhancing the "colonial" flavour of the property.

Main room has a Queen bed, TV, DVD, fridge, microwave, lounge suite, r.c. air conditioning, ceiling fan, tea/coffee facilities, ironing equip. and private courtyard. Second room has two Single beds. Bathroom has toilet, shower and basin and hairdryer. Public toilets are also located across the verandah. Rates include a deluxe buffet style continental breakfast of fresh seasonal fruit, cereals, yoghurts, juices, selection of breads and freshly brewed tea & coffee. Breakfast is served in our breakfast room overlooking the garden. We have minimum requirement stay for Long Weekends.
