The motel has 29 self contained units, all featuring a kitchenette with top cooker and microwave. All units have queen beds with some units sleeping up to 5 persons. If you wish, breakfast can be served to your room in the morning or a continental breakfast pack delivered to your room in the evening if you have an early start.

From Gladstone take the Boyne Tannum road, at Boyne Island turn right over the Boyne bridge into Hampton drive, Reef Adventureland is located on the right opposite the shopping centre. Gladstone airport is 25 klms from Tannum Sands.
From the south, turn right off the highway travelling 9 kilometres into Tannum Sands, turn left at Coles shopping centre and the motel is on your left.

Tannum Sands has a lovely, sandy and safe beach, plenty of walking and cycling tracks along the foreshore to keep you active, fish the Boyne river or take the short drive to Lake Awoonga and try to land a big barramundi.
