Garden Chalet
Six freestanding studio plan garden Chalets are semi self-contained with your own private balcony. These rooms offer great flexibility for longer stays. They are located within the grounds amongst lush tropical gardens.
Heritage Room
Six heritage rooms are located upstairs in the original Sorrento Guest House building. Furnished in traditional décor to three star standard, these rooms are ideal for the short stay visitor who likes to enjoy the accommodation facilities, great service with less expensive room rates.
Oceanview Room
Twelve superior Ocean View Rooms (6 upstairs, 6 downstairs). Totally refurbished in 2006,these 4 star rooms have a private balcony for guests to relax overlooking a spectacular view of the ocean and the main land. Rooms feature ensuite bathroom, heating and cooling, television, mini bar, tea & coffee making facilities, refrigerator, iron, ironing boards, alarm clock and Hair dryer. All linen provided, rooms are serviced daily.

Travel Directions
Kangaroo Island is located 18kms off the coast of mainland Australia. Access to the Island is either by the SeaLink Ferry or by Air. The SeaLink Ferry Terminal on the mainland is located at Cape Jervis, 1 hour and 45 mins from Adelaide. The Island Terminal is located in Penneshaw 300 metres from the Kangaroo Island Seafront Hotel. The Kangaroo Island Airport is located 50 kms from the Kangaroo Island Seafront Hotel, daily flights from Adelaide are avaliable. The SeaLink Ferry Service does allow Cars to be transported to the Island, high quality tours and hire cars are available on Kangaroo Island. The Seafront Reservation Staff can advise on how to get to the Island and how to get around it.
Things To Do
Kangaroo Island is the third largest island off the coast of mainland Australia. The Island is 155kms long and up to 55kms wide, it covers an area of over 45000 square kilometres. The Island's size is deceiving and one day on Kangaroo Island is not enough. Over one third of Kangaroo Island is dedicated to National or Conservation Parks, and this pristine natural landscape is the perfect environment for an abundance of flora and fauna. Kangaroo Island is an area of outstanding natural beauty, virtually untouched from the impact of European development. With a large of array of wildlife including native species such as the Kangaroo Island Kangaroo, Tammar Wallaby, Brush tail Possum, Short Beaked Echidna, Brown Bandicoot, Little Fairy Penguin, Little Pygmy Possum, Sooty Dannart, Australian Sea-lion, New Zealand Fur Seal are all native to the Island. The Koala, Platypus, Ringtail Possum and Bilby were introduced and have survived in abundance.
