Nestled by the riverside and just a short walk to the beach, Riverview Gardens Bed & Breakfast is quality accommodation in a lovely old Edwardian cottage overlooking the Hunter River at Stockton, ideally located for your perfect getaway.

Riverview Gardens Bed & Breakfast is a traditional home stay establishment where we have retained an old fashioned, country atmosphere to compliment Stockton's leisured pace and warm friendliness.

Your hosts, Beverley & Ron extend a warm old-fashioned welcome on arrival, comfortable accommodation with reverse cycle air conditioning, and a hearty cooked breakfast.

ROBYN'S SUITE is a beautiful & spacious queen suite. For a family or group of up to 5, the bedroom has a queen bed and a trundle bed for a third person while the sitting room is furnished with a double sofa bed. A full bathroom with separate shower and bath is part of this suite.

The BLUE ROOM is also beautifilly furnished with a queen bed and has its own ensuite. The Blue Room is suitable for 1 single or 1 couple only.

All beds are equipped with electric blankets and controls for each sleeping position.

In your bathroom you will find fluffy, sunshine smelling towels and quality bath products.

The comfortable guest's lounge has tea and coffee making facilities with fresh filtered water. Make your selection from a range of specialty teas and filtered coffee.Home baked biscuits are available for you at all times. A small refrigerator is available for you to keep cool your cans of drinks or a bottle of wine, cheeses and chocolates. A small selection of CDs are available for you enjoyment, or please feel free to bring you favourites. There is also a selection of books and quality magazines for your quiet times.

Barbecue facilities are also available for your convenience and an iron & ironing board are available in each room. Our guests lounge room is very comfortable and is equiped with TV, DVD, Video and Hi Fi system. Broadband facility is readily available for guests with their own laptop.

We do not have facilities or cater for babies or very young children.
We can accommodate up to 3 extra person in Robyn's Room on a trundle bed which is a full size standard single bed with a quality innerspring mattress and bedding, and a double sofa bed in an adjoining private sitting room.

Riverview Gardens is located 3.5 kilometers south of the intersection of Nelson Bay Road and Fullerton St. on the eastern side of Stockton Bridge.

As well as our beautiful surf beach, there are many sporting opportunities. You can enjoy a game of lawn bowls, tennis or perhaps golf at the renowned Newcastle Golf Club.

Within 5 minutes you can walk to Clubs or Hotels where great meals are available or if you would like to venture a little further, the ferry will take you to Newcastle's famous Queen's Wharf and Honeysuckle areas where you can enjoy fine dining. We can help you to choose where to eat as we have a variety of menus for your perusal.

Whether you wish to see and taste the produce of the Vineyards; take a scenic flight in a hot air balloon, helicopter or plane; do some sky diving, hang gliding or paragliding; diving or have surfing or kite surfing lessons; enjoy harbour cruising (night or day), dolphin or whale watching; see Newcastle's sights on Newcastle's Famous Tram or walking tours; bushwalking or picnics, it is all available locally and we can organise it for you.

Within a short distance from the Newcastle wharf are movie and live theatres for your entertainment as well as shopping and weekend markets.

Holidaymakers also enjoy Stockton's close proximity to the Hunter Valley and beautiful Port Stephens. Specialty day trips can be arranged for you to these areas.

If you are flying in to Newcastle Airport, we can arrange to transport you from the airport.
