(formerly the COMFORT INN KINGSTON) The Lobster Motor Inn is a 25 room motel that has a 60 seat restaurant and a swimming pool. It is situated on the Princes Highway on the outer limits of Kingston SE in the South East of South Australia in the area known as "The Limestone Coast".

The Lobster Motor Inn was built in the 70's to luxury standards for the time but has recently undergone extensive renovations and upgrades to meet the latest expectations.

The town of Kingston is a focal point for the surrounding farming areas of the local district as well as a home for the fishermen who fish the summer months for the much sought after lobsters

During the summer months the towns population swells considerably as holiday makers arrive to enjoy their summer vacations. Many families from far inland have "beach shacks" but many others simply stay in motels and caravan parks or just make day trips from their homes.

The local area is a popular destination because of the good fishing grounds in the area, the extremely safe, calm beaches as well as the affordability of this area compared with other more high profile areas.

Some of the safest beaches for children swimming can be found around Kingston SE. Wyomi & Pinks Beach to the South of the town are very sheltered and seldon get any sizeable waves.
