The Fig Tree is a unique property set on 5 lush acres, offering splendid views of Byron Bay, the Light House and Julian Rocks. Conveniently located in tranquil Ewingsdale, just 5 minutes drive from Byron Bay's main shopping district, restaurants and patrolled beaches.



The restaurant is open from Thursday night (with a farmers' market special) through to Sunday lunch.

With the choice of two fully self contained accommodation options (The Dairy & Sunrise), we can accommodate small to larger groups.



THE DAIRY is located just 20 meters from the restaurant, nestled under the ancient Fig Tree of Sunrise Lane, Ewingsdale. This home has 3 bedrooms (each with ensuites), features an open plan granite-style kitchen with dining and lounge area offering lovely ocean views. The master bedroom looks out onto the Bay and has an open-plan marble-style bathroom. This home sleeps 6 people (or 8 on request).



SUNRISE is located just 60 meters from the restaurant. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, features a granite-style kitchen (equipped with stainless steel appliances), two living areas opening onto a great entertainment area with views over Byron Bay. 2 of the bedrooms look over the Bay so you can be guaranteed some splendid sunrises over the lighthouse. This home sleeps 8 people.



Take time out in a marble bathroom with spa, pop over to the restaurant for a gourmet meal, relax on the wide patio, cook up a feast in your own granite kitchen, enjoy a walk in the garden or use the rooms as a base for exploring Byron Bay and its hinterland.

Check out time is at 10am.

Bookings made on the day must be confirmed via phone. Please call 02 66 847 273, 0432 822 400 or 0432 822 300.
Please contact the property to advise of your estimated time of arrival as we are not allways on the property.

On Check-in: A bond is required to cover any incidentals costs.
For all Low and Mid season bookings, a credit card imprint is required on arrival and a bond of $500 will be taken in the form of a pre-authorized payment.
For all Peak season bookings, a credit card imprint is required on arrival and a bond of $1000 will be taken in the form of a pre-authorized payment
Any incidentals will need to be paid for in full.

Our rates are for 2 persons. Each additional guest (adults) will be charged at $50 per night and Children at $25 per night.
Number of Persons and Linen: The number of occupants must not exceed the number of persons shown on your confirmation.
Any increase in numbers must be agreed in advance and may incur an additional fee.

Location & Directions:
*Coming from the North (Gold Coast, Brisbane and other): Take the Byron Bay Turn Off from the Highway. Approximately 1 Kilometre ahead, turn right into McGettigans Lane (Ewingsdale). Take the second left into Sunrise Lane and you will find the Fig Tree Restaurant and Rooms on your left.
*Coming from the center of town, head towards the highway down Ewingsdale road, Pass the BP station on your right and approximately 1 kilometer ahead, you will find McGettingans Lane on your left. Take a left and approx. 1 kilometer ahead, you¿ll find Sunrise lane on your left (it is the second street . The Fig Tree Restaurant and Rooms will be on your left.
