Mt Coolum Retreat 'A Bed & Breakfast' is a AAA Tourism 4 star rated Bed and Breakfast centrally located 2.5km from beautiful beaches at Coolum Beach on the glorious Sunshine Coast. Major renovations were completed in September 2012, giving the property a modern contemporary beach feel. The property is nestled at the foothills of the majestic Mt Coolum and enjoys spectacular views of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The Palmer Coolum Resort (previously the Hyatt Regency Coolum) is a two minute drive from us. Mt Coolum Retreat is a purpose built Bed and Breakfast, providing complete privacy for guests, with three ensuited rooms on the first level adjoining a large guest living and kitchen area designed for relaxing and unwinding. A fourth room is located on the second level. The property features four well appointed guest rooms which are fitted with ceiling fan(three rooms also air conditioned), HD flatscreen television/DVD player (complimentary DVD library), clock radio, hair dryer, quality linen and toiletries. Tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolates are provided in rooms, and rooms are serviced daily. All rooms have a private french door which opens on to a large deck with views to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, the ideal place to relax and unwind. A full breakfast is included in the tariff and is served on the second level deck or dining room with stunning views to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Travel Directions

Mt Coolum Retreat is located 1 hour 15 minutes drive north of Brisbane airport and 7 minutes north of the Sunshine Coast Airport on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast. Approximate driving times from Mt Coolum Retreat: Mt Coolum shops and golf course: 1 minute. Hyatt Regency Resort and nearest patrolled beach: 2 minutes. Coolum Beach shops, restaurants and patrolled beach: 5 minutes. Twin Waters Resort: 8 minutes. Maroochydore: 12 Minutes. Noosa: 20 minutes. Eumundi markets and Yandina: 20 minutes. Directions: From Brisbane airport and the south to Mt Coolum Retreat: From Brisbane Airport follow the signs to the Sunshine Coast (Bruce Highway). After approximately 50 minutes, exit to the Sunshine Motorway. Approximately 1 km after crossing the Maroochydore River exit to the David Low Way. (Turn right at the round about immediately after exiting). Follow the David Low Way for approximately 8.5km (passing the Sunshine Coast Airport on your left). Turn left on to Suncoast Beach Drive (at the Mt Coolum shops and the B&B sign). Follow Suncoast Beach Drive for 1.4km until you reach the Mt Coolum Retreat entrance driveway. Directions: From the North: Heading south on the Bruce Highway take the turnoff to the Sunshine Motorway. Take the Coolum Beach exit and follow the road until the T intersection (traffic lights) with the David Low Way. Turn right onto the David Low Way and head south for approximately 5km. Turn right onto Suncoast Beach Drive (at the Mt Coolum shops and the B&B sign). Follow Suncoast Beach Drive for 1.4km until you reach the Mt Coolum Retreat entrance driveway.
