Our spacious apartments offer the flexibility for guests to attend to business tasks as required, and conduct small meetings or interviews. The generous dimensions of our apartments provide guests with the ability to work privately in an environment more conducive to business requirements than a standard hotel room.

To accommodate your professional needs, each apartment at Quest Waterfront provides guests with dedicated telephone lines for fax/modem access, with the opportunity to utilise our Secretarial Service to add that finishing touch to any business request.

Travel Directions

With perfectly central location, Quest Waterfront is just a 20-minute drive from the Hobart Airport.

We are located on Hobart's Waterfront in Brooke St, right opposite from the Brooke St Pier.


When driving from the airport, Northern or Western Tasmania, take Davey Street (main city access). Keep in left lane, turning left into Elizabeth Street (approximately 300 metres after entering waterfront area), take your first right into Morrison Street (100 metres) then again your first right into Brooke Street (100 metres). Quest Waterfront is on your left.

The Airporter Shuttle Bus service meets all flights arriving at the Airport and brings guests to our door ($15.00 p/p). There is no need to book as they are available for every flight landing in Hobart, Every Day! Speak to our Friendly Reception Staff if you wish to book a return trip to the Airport when you are leaving. Taxis are also familiar with our address - just mention Quest Waterfront.

Things To Do

For the holiday traveller, Quest Waterfront is ideally located with close access to some of Hobart¿s premier attractions.

Situated only moments from the CBD and only a short stroll away is the shopping precinct along Elizabeth St Mall, Liverpool St and our delightful arcades: Centrepoint, Cat & Fiddle Arcade, and the Bank Arcade.

Also surrounding us at Quest Waterfront are Hobart¿s oldest and most history rich buildings. Just 2 mins walk away is the world famous Salamanca Place- circa 1830's (also famous for its weekly Saturday Markets), with their ancient Georgian design, and original Tasmanian Sandstone structuring, Salamanca Place almost takes you back in time!

Or take a wander around Battery Point's Hampton Road. Here you will view some of Hobart¿s oldest homes. Arthur¿s Circus in Battery Point is also worth a look, this is one of Hobart¿s original suburban streets, with the olden style houses still perfectly maintained in their original manner.

For an evening treat, only a short drive away is the Wrest Point Casino. With so much to do, and so much to see, Australia's very first Casino is definitely worth a visit. It is bursting with Restaurants and cosy little bars such as the Bird Cage Bar with nightly live entertainment, and the Sports Bar with its huge screen to keep up to date with the latest sporting events!

Hobart's Tourist Information Centre is just around the corner in Elizabeth Street. Pop around there for all the information in the world about our beautiful city; tourist attractions; must see's & must do's; and any other questions you may have!

Take time out and relax at Savoy BathsHobart's only comprehensive therapeutic Baths with heated salt pool, spas, steam room, sauna, massage and treatment facilities. This luxurious and unique feature is located in the lower level of the building. Enjoy a swim, sauna and spa at the baths for just $15 for Quest Guests a saving of $7. All other treatments will need to be booked directly with Savoy Baths in advance of arrival.

Want a workout? Then head to Club Salamanca just a short walk from Quest Waterfront. With heated salt water pool, steam room, spa, cardio and strength machines and towwl services. On presintation of your Quest Apartments room key you can save yourself $10 for a casual visit and just pay $18.

Need to keep the kids occupied for a few hours? Or would you like to take time out for yourself and head to the gym or enjoy a swim then head to the Hobart Aquatic Centre. Just 10 minute walk from the hotel the Aquatic Centre has a range of heated/cool and diving pools as well as a children's paddle pool with 2 water slides and various water fountains. For prices please contact Reception and we will organise vouchers for your use at the Hobart Aquatic Centre.

Why not take a day to enjoy the Peppermint Bay Cruise. The 4 hour cruise along the Derwnt River and d'Entrecasteax Channel will take you down to the picturesqe Peppermint bay where you spend 1 hour ashore to enjoy the amazing views of bruny island, dine in their world class restaurant or exploring the grounds and art gallery.
