Transported from the mists of the Scottish Highlands, Bonnie Doon, a hunting lodge, has a dark romance all of its own. A spacious living area surrounded by ancient wood panelled walls, adorned with antlers and tartans in glorious colours. A huge four poster bed, hung with richly hued tapestries, trimmed with lavish fringes and tassels and silk draped walls bring romance to the bedroom. The second bedroom with double bed accommodates the hunting party admirably and a spa in the bathroom to replenishes at the end of a long day.
Boudoir Room

The Shambles
Open woodfires and electric heating warm the lovingly restored 4-roomed cottages built in 1840. With great attention to detail the themes of each cottage surprise the occupant at every turn. Browse through the collection of memorabilia and books or snuggle on the sofa with your complimentary port, chocolate truffles and shortbread. Next morning enjoy your hearty continental breakfast provided in the well-equipped kitchen and stroll to nearby restaurants for your evening meal. Rates for 2, max 4 people at $20 extra each

Children and Extra Guests Details
We have mostly double accommodation. There is one cottage that has a sofa bed, so it can accommodate 3 adults and we can accommodate a child on a fold out bed in the Shambles Cottage. Extra cost $25 per person.
Car Parking Details
Each cottage has its own off-street carparking bay.
Travel Directions
Travelling from the Launceston Airport or from the Spirit of Tasmania at Devonport the Bass Highway joins the Midlands Highway just outside of Launceston. Travel down a steep incline towards Launceston and turn left at the third set of traffic lights into Balfour Street . Go across one intersection at a small roundabout and we are the second house on the left. There is a driveway on the left of the cream-coloured building which you can drive into find reception.
