The Boomerangs are fully self contained, boomerang shaped, architecturally designed, award winning cottages. They are surrounded by three acres of landscaped gardens which are home to a wide variety of local bird life. The views from these private cottages are spectacular. The distinctive boomerang shape enables 280 degree panoramic views over the Johanna Valley, native forest and the majestic Southern Ocean. Our guests' comfort is our highest priority. Facilities include:

Huge open living plan incorporating fully-equipped kitchen, dining and living area. Accommodates four adults comfortably. A trundle bed is available for an additional person.

Two bedrooms each with a queen size bed, Luxurious fittings and quality leather furnishings. Situated on 3 acres of landscaped gardens, Large bathroom with spa and separate shower, Automatic washing machine and dryer, Reverse cycle air conditioning, Disabled persons facilities. Polished hardwood Jarrah floorboards, Vaulted pine lined ceilings, Leadlight features.

3.3m (10'10") high windows enabling panoramic views day and night, Extensive wrap around verandah & BBQ, Wood fire with wood supplied in the cottage.

All linen and towels supplied, Tea / plunger coffee making facilities, TV, DVD & comprehensive DVD & CD library. CD-cassette player.

In house massage can be arranged. Sorry, no pets.

The Boomerangs are located on Victoria's famous Great Ocean Road. Situated on the corner of the Great Ocean Road and Johanna Red Road. 35 kilometres past Apollo Bay travelling in a westerly direction.

Things To DoThings To Do

The Boomerangs are situated in the middle of the Great Otway National Park. They are very central to all of the major attractions, including the 12 Apostles and the Otway Fly - the longest and tallest rainforest walk in the world. Johanna Beach is just minutes away. This is one of the most scenic beaches in Australia. Surfing & fishing is fantastic. There are also some lovely rock pools for those hot summer days. Within a short drive you will find yourself in the middle of the rainforest with plenty of available walks through the bush and to and from many magnificent waterfalls. Restaurants and shops aplenty in Apollo Bay.
