Tokemata Retreat is situated on a luscious, landscaped 50 acre property near Cobram on the Murray River.

We have four superb 1, 2 and 3 bedroom fully self contained cottages, rated 4 ½ star by AAA Tourism. Our cottages are all beautifully and individually decorated. With the flexibility in our rooms, we can easily cater for couples, families or larger groups.

All prices include hearty breakfast provisions as well as full use of all the facilities here.

For the energetic, you can take advantage of the on site facilities such as the golf driving range, complete with putting green and two bunkers, the tennis court, solar heated swimming pool and children¿s playground.

The Murray River is a short walk away through the magnificent red gum forest bordering our property and if you want to bring your bike, then you can make use of the numerous tracks through the bush as well as fishing and water skiing.

For the less energetic, you can simply relax in the beautiful gardens and soak up the country atmosphere.

Please note that the maximum age for an infant is less than 2 years. Children are classified as being between 2 and 16 years inclusive.

Check-in is 2pm. Earlier check in may be available on request. Please let us know an approximate arrival time so that we can make sure someone is there to check you in.

Children and Extra Guests Details

Children & extra guests are welcome. Infants in portacot no charge. All other children & extra guests $30.00 per night.

Car Parking Details

Each cottage has a covered carport. (the three bedroom cottage has 2). There is also a large separate carpark on the property.

Travel Directions

We are located approximately 8km from Cobram and 25km from Yarrawonga. Cemetery Road comes off the Murray Valley Highway and there are signs leading you to us from the highway.

Things To Do

On-site Facilities

* Cool off in our 12m solar heated, salt water swimming pool or just rest under the palms on one of our lounges.

* Golf. What more could you want than your very own practice facilities right on your own doorstep? The cottages all look out onto the magnificent green with bunker and the 250m driving range which is all there for you to use as much as you like. Balls are provided and all that is asked of you is that you pick the balls up when you have finished (before the crows do!).

To protect you from the elements, you can use the undercover hitting bay which has two hitting mats.

* Tennis. We have a full sized tennis court that has a concrete practice wall and basketball ring. Lighting means you can play day or night.

* Childrens Playground. The kids will be kept entertained with our elevated cubby house, sandpit, swings, and trampoline.

* Entertaining Areas.Our recently renovated entertaining area has a BBQ, outdoor seating and is shaded by a custom built 5m umbrella. There is also plenty of other outdoor seating throughout the landscaped gardens.

Bushwalking - our property borders Cobram State Forest and there are plenty of walking tracks leading from our boundry.
