Travel Directions
Mantra South Bank is located on Grey Street. The hotel is only minutes walk from South Bank or South Brisbane Railway Station. From the Airport - from airport Drive, turn left onto gateway Motorway towards the city. Veer left and then turn right onto Links Avenue, then left onto Kingsford Smith Drive. Follow Breakfast Creek Road, then Ann Street, then left lane for North Quay. Turn right onto Victoria Bridge, follow Melbourne Street. Airtrain operate frequent services from Brisbane airport into Brisbane City, be in the heart of Brisbane in only 20 Minutes
Things To Do
There are so many things to see and do in Brisbane. At the top of the list is the Southbank area, with its man-made beaches and lagoons, giant TV screens, markets and museums and the two botanic gardens are a must see. There's plenty of shopping to be done in the Queen Street mall and Fortitude Valley ('The Valley') is home to some of the best nightlife and band culture. A good way to get your bearings when you first arrive is to explore the city by foot, by river cruise or by a speedy ferry. Take in the sights and discover why the river is so central to Brisbane life. For a wider view, take a champagne breakfast balloon flight over the city, or join a day bus or 4WD tour. For the outdoors types, head out to sea on a fishing charter, or set sail on a sailing tour or cruise of Moreton Bay. And exploring nearby North Stradbroke and Moreton Island's beaches by 4WD is a must.
