We offer free wireless internet connection for those who wish to bring their laptop. Fax facilities are available at reception upon request.
Check In Instructions
Check in is 2:00pm. There is luggage storage available if arrival is early or for those who need to check out and leave luggage for departure later than 10 am.
Children and Extra Guests Details
Travel cots are available for infants and are free with all rooms fully paid for. Rollaway beds are available for only a limited number of rooms and will be an additional cost depending on the season or if those rooms are available.
Car Parking Details
Bernti's has limited off-street parking and we work on a "first in" policy. There is free overnight parking available next to the leisure centre as you come into the village. Guests wishing to use their car during their stay are advised to park in the overnight carpark.
Travel Directions
If you are travelling by car Thredbo is situated 30 minutes from Jindabyne along The Alpine Way. Berntis is located in Mowamba Place which is left off the main street after the service station and next to supermarket. Thredbo's closest airports are in Cooma and Canberra. Cooma is connected to Thredbo by shuttle service and is an hour. Canberra is two and a half hours away and you can get to Thredbo by bus, snow limo or hire car(only in summer).
Things To Do
Bernti's is in the heart of the village and is ideally situated to pursue any number of activites Thredbo has to offer. In winter skiing and snowboarding at one of Australia's premier ski resorts are the thigs to do. In summer it is an activites heaven. With Thredbo situated so closely to Mt Kosciusko walking to the top of Australia is easy. Other activites include bushwalking, horseriding, white water rafting, golf, mountain bikeing, fly fishing, tennis and use of the AIS Fitness centre that includes 50m pool, basketball courts, rock climbing wall, gym and much more.
