Cheynes Beach is situated 68 kms east of Albany on the south coast. The park overlooks the spectacular white sands of the 15 kms of pristine beach and is surrounded by Waychinnicup national park.

The caravan park has grassed, shaded, fully serviced caravan bays with hard stands for annexes & well shaded & grassed tentsites.

There are 3 styles ofaccomodation from standard park cabins to 2 bed chalets.

Facilities within the park include 2 modern amenities blocks which incorporate laundries at both blocks and disabled facilities at one block. There is a large camp kitchen with dish washing sinks, fridge, electric kettle, toaster, seating and tables. 2 Free gas BBQs, one next to the kitchen, are available for patrons.

There are two playgrounds and open grassed areas for play. There is a fish cleaning table, boat/vehicle washing hard stand and boat parking all situated within the park. The park features a security system of boom gate with key access and a cameravideolink at the entrance.

The park has its own shop open 7 days with general grocery lines, bait,tackle, ice, fuel, gas refills and liqour.

Situated just a short walk from the park is the beach with a protected cove for safe swimming and water sports. Boats are launched straight off the beach .

To get to Cheynes, travelling from Albany, take the South Coast Hwy east via Bakers Junction, thru' Manypeaks to the turnoff at Cheyne Rd. The park is situated 19 kms at the end of the road.
Travelling from Esperance via South Coast Hwy Cheyne Rd is 50 kms from Wellstead.

Cheynes Beach has a protected cove that is within walking distance of the park and a white sand beach that streches for kilometres, great for all the various water activities of swimming, surfing, snorkeling,fishing and boating. There is grassed, shady areas for picnics with a public BBQ and vehicle access to the beach.
If you have a 4WD you can drive the length of the beach or try the tracks to the back beaches and fishing spots.
A Birders paradise, with the noisy scrub bird on the doorstep and rare birds within walking distance of the park.
For bushwalkers, tracks galore.
Waychinnicup National park surrounds the caravan park and contains within it unique rock formations, spectacular wildflowers and a picturesque estuary inlet.
In winter and spring, whales are regular vistors to the bay. Hump Backs passing through on their journey north and Southern Rights that often come to calve
