The rooms at Silverstream have been set up to cater for one couple per cottage.Each cottage is separate from the other and have all the luxury features that will ensure your time away is perfect.The cosy log fire,double spa bath,luxury linen,reverse cyle air conditioning and LCD TV/CD/DVD player with music and movies to watch.All toiletries,towels and soft bathrobes supplied.

Your choice of cooked or light breakfasts are included and delivered to your door at a time that you choose.

The kitchenette is well equipped with bar fridge,microwave tea /coffee making facilities and a small barbeque is on the verandah.No need to think of cooking though when you are a short stroll to the local hotel and a choice of cafes.

Only minutes from Marysville, the tiny village of Buxton is a picturesque drive through the Yarra Valley with its many wineries. As you drive on through the Black Spur mountain range the feeling of peace and tranquility descends upon you. You are entering another world.

On arriving at Silverstream you will find a beautiful two acre secluded English style garden with beautiful mountain views and a private stream that winds its way through the bottom of the garden.The birdlife is amazing with lots of colourful king parrots,galahs and rosellas.The smaller varieties of birds can be seen hopping around the garden gathering nectar from the flowers.Lots of places to sit and relax and enjoy nature at its best.

The property is easy to access by car.Take the Maroondah Highway all the way into Buxton(100k's from Melbourne CBD)and turn left into Mareeba Ave just past the Buxton Trout and Salmon Farm.
We are the first driveway on the left in Mareeba ave. There is also a McKenzies V/Line bus no. 684 that leaves Spencer street and will drop you off just past the front gate of Silverstream Cottages.
